Why our retreats have been helping many

So many people have joined us because they felt this was the space to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with what truly matters. The place where they remembered what happiness feels like.

I often think of Andreas (name changed for privacy). He had worked with several therapists, who helped him understand the burnout roots and patterns of what he was experiencing. But it was here that he finally found the space to rest. Here, he was able to slow down and see more clearly. Here, he felt like himself again, and knew what to do next.

• It is defined as an occupational phenomenon (not a disease), with symptoms such as exhaustion, impaired recovery, and reduced mental resilience. (Edú‑Valsania et al., 2022)
• Common components include emotional exhaustion, cynicism / mental distancing, and a sense of reduced accomplishment. (Koutsimani, 2019)
