TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By accessing this website, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms & Conditions – which may be amended from time to time – and all applicable laws and regulations. The materials contained in this website are protected and applicable copywrite and trademark law.

PAYMENT POLICY

To reserve your place on the myalfazema retreat, please follow these steps:

1. Send an email to leonor@myalfazema.com expressing your interest in the retreat and the dates you wish to attend.
2. Once you receive confirmation of availability, make a payment of the booking fee of 200€ 
3. Send proof of payment to leonor@myalfazema.com to officially reserve your place. If we do not receive the payment in 7 business days, we may consider it canceled. 
4. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 32 days after the initial payment and at least 3 weeks prior to the first day of the retreat. If payment is not received by then, the amount paid will not be refunded and we will consider your reservation canceled.

myalfazema refunds policy

Depending on when you cancel, cancellation fees may apply.

• 100€ of your booking fee are non-refundable
• If cancellation takes place more than forty five (45) days prior to retreat start date, then any payments made minus your 100€ deposit will be credited in the form of a voucher valid for one (1) year from the start date of the canceled retreat.
• If cancellation takes place less than forty-five (45) days prior to the retreat start date, then no refund is granted.

Due to our need to commit to accommodation and other arrangements in advance, exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason.

We do not offer credit for arriving late or leaving early.

myalfazema retreats cancelation policy

myalfazema cannot make any exceptions to this payments, cancellation, and changes policy even if the cancellation or change is due to illness or medical issues; family or personal matters; revocation, cancellation, or expiration of your visa; travel bans; deportation; any laws, regulations, orders, or policies concerning immigration and refugee status that may impact your ability to travel; change in your immigration status; scheduling conflicts; travel delays; a force majeure event (including, but not limited to, an act of God, war, terrorist activity, labor dispute, civil unrest, utility outage, pandemic, etc.); or any other reason whatsoever.

myalfazema priority is always the best of its guests and canceling a retreat is the very last option. It might occur due to low participation or other factors related to the team or accommodation place. In this case, you will be refunded the amount paid, except in the situation referred to in Force Majeure and our Reservation Rights.

myalfazema is not responsible for any injury, loss, expenses, or damages, either direct or consequential, or for any loss of time or inconvenience that you may incur as a result of trip cancellation including visas, passports, travel documents, vaccination charges, preparation costs, gear purchases, airline tickets, airline taxes, airport fees (including but not limited to visa, passport and vaccination charges, or departure, gear purchases, airport and airline taxes).

Force Majeure

myalfazema shall not be responsible for not fulfilling its contractual obligations to the extent that failure to fulfill is due to events outside its control, that is, force majeure, events such as a pandemic, acts of God, fire, flood, cancelation of flights or due to adverse weather conditions, war, acts of terrorism, civil commotion, labor disputes, and any similar events. In such force majeure events, no refund shall be granted.

RESERVATION OF RIGHTS

myalfazema reserves the right to make any changes deemed necessary to our retreats:

• We reserve the right to replace the retreat hosts in the event of illness, sickness, or any other force majeure emergency that was unknown at the time of the retreat’s launch and promotion. 

• We hold the right to change the venue where the retreat takes place due to any emergency circumstances.
• Participants are not entitled to any compensation in the case

Travel Insurance

Guest must have adequate travel insurance to cover the retreat activities.

It is your responsibility to organize suitable travel and health insurance and myalfazema cannot hold liable if your failure to arrange suitable insurance coverage leaves you exposed, medically, financially, or otherwise.

Passports, Visas, and Documents

It is each guest’s responsibility to obtain a valid passport, or visa (s).

General Waiver – Limitation of Liability

You acknowledge that during a retreat you participate voluntarily in all activities arranged by the retreat hosts, and insofar as legally permissible, surrender your right to any cause of action against myalfazema arising from any loss or damage to person or property that occurs during a retreat.

Guests should never be under the effect of any behavior-affecting substances, including alcohol or drugs. In the case a guest shows any signs of being under the effect of such substances, myalfazema has the right to remove such guest from the retreat immediately. In this situation, the guest who is removed will not be entitled to any sort of compensation or refund.

You hereby agree to be responsible for your own welfare and accept all risks of delay, unanticipated events, inconvenience, injury, illness, emotional trauma, or death.

You hereby certify that you are physically fit and have not been advised, by a qualified medical professional, not to participate, by any means or in any manner, in any such activity arranged by myalfazema or the retreat hosts. You hereby certify that there are no health-related reasons or problems which preclude your participation in any and all activities arranged by the retreat hosts.

You hereby waive, release and discharge from and against any and all liability from your participation in the trip and  in any and all activities arranged by the retreat hosts, including but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence or fault of myalfazema and/or its employees and/or its collaborators and/or its subcontractors, for your death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to you including your trip to and from activities arranged by the retreat hosts,

You agree that this release shall be legally binding upon you personally and all members of your family.

PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE FORM

You hereby grant myalfazema the right and permission to use photographic material and video in which you are featured and are taken during the retreat. myalfazema holds the right to use/republish/copyright, etc., this material for advertising and promotional purposes.

You hereby release and discharge myalfazema from any claims and demands arising out of our connection with the use of the photographs and video footage, including without limitation all claims for libel or invasion of privacy.

We always have your best interest at heart and in mind. In case you do not want to be photographed we will respect your wishes and right to privacy. Please contact us at leonor@myalfazema.com

CHANGES TO OUR TERMS & CONDITIONS

We keep the present Terms and Conditions under regular review, and we reserve the right to amend or update them at any time. The effective date is displayed hereunder. Thus, we advise you to review this page periodically for any changes. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on our website.

By enrolling in a myalfazema retreat, you are automatically agreeing to the terms and conditions.
