"Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self" - Bhagavad Gita
How Yoga transformed my life
YOGA ——
a practice, a lineage, a way of life,
that guided me to listen Life. 🔮
🌙 It is sacred. It is stillness. It is presence. It is chaos.
It is… such an infinite unfolding with no destination.
Such a blessing to practice as merely a being of light,
honoring the sacred elements of life,
feeling the connection,
keeping curiosity,
noticing alignment,
and moving through the asanas with the simple joy of being in the flow —
that flow when the body, the breath, the mind, and life move as one.
Experiencing life more than thinking about life 🪐
When I started my practice, I didn’t understand what people meant when they said yoga could change your life.
It sounded abstract, even a little “magic potion.”
And the truth is, yoga isn’t here to change our lives. Yet somehow, inevitably, it does 🤍
It did transform mine.
It gave me a way to understand and be in my body.
It gave me tools to get out of my mind and, instead, to truly experience life —— to feel it through the senses.
To feel the flow in physical terms, not just the cognitive flow.
To let myself get lost and know how to come back.
And allowed me to feel life as a journey,
to see that maybe the final chapter isn’t meant to exist on its own, but to reflect the way we moved through it all. 🌙
